High Performance Teams - managing divergent behaviour with convergent values?
Thrupeople believes that the essence of any successful team is managing and leveraging divergent behaviour and yet being convergent in terms of the values that are shown in the brand and reflected in the culture as shown by the diagram below. Another success factor that Thrupeople considers as critical is to be able to differentiate between team contribution and leadership.

Our methodology enables Thrupeople to overview the business strategy and how Human Resources is aligned not only to it but also to the brand values. Another requisite is to assess the existing culture and the desired future state to identify clearly the desired change.
This analysis of the context is used in designing the team building programme.Thrupeople then focuses on the individuals understanding of how they fit into the team by using tools such as psychometric evaluation, colleague feedback, opinion and culture surveys. The learning is reinforced by selecting issues that will make a difference to the business and also highlight the effectiveness of the team's behaviour.
Thrupeople is sensitive however, to the need to be flexible depending on the feedback received from participants as progress is made through the project. In consequence, each phase and its output is reviewed with the client to ensure that it is meeting the business needs and to examine alternatives that might achieve an even more effective result for the team using additional resource material if required.
